Munchkin
Beginning:
each player level one, 4 + 4 cards
Kick open door
-> draw 1 faceup door card, either:
- Monster -> Fight
- Curse (-> apply on self) or other (-> take to hand), then either:
- Look for trouble -> play 1 monster card from hand (-> Fight)
- Loot the room -> draw 1 facedown door card
Fight
Ask for help Battle: Kill monster: - gain level per monster and take treasures (facedown - alone, faceup - with helper) Run away - roll a dice (5,6 success) Bad stuff
Death
- Loose all cards but Class, Race, Curse and Level
- all players loot 1 card, from highest level
- dead until next player turn
- draw 4 + 4 cards on begin of own turn
Charity
- maximum 5 cards in hand at the end of turn (trade, play, sell for a level)
- excess cards give to players with lowest level (divide)
- if lowest level (or tied), discard
Actions summary:
Actions that can be played anytime:
- discard a class
- play a go up a level
- play curse
Actions anytime, except combat:
- trading items with other player (from table)
- change equiped items
- play just recevied card
Actions during own turn:
- play a new class card (anytime)
- sell items for level (except combat), 1000 gold per level
- play an Item (in combat only one-shot items)
Notes:
- last level gain only by killing monster (no Go up a level card, sell items, …)
- only one big item can be carried, (otherwise must sell, trade, lose or charity)
- interferring combat, anyone: one-shot item, monster modifier, wandering monster (or undead, sharks to undead,sharks), curse
Munchkin Apocalypse
- disaster == curse
Seals
- Opening seal: cards effect or death of munchkin (if more mnkchkns, open just one seal)
- Immediate effect affects player who opens seal
- Continuing effect affects everyone
- all monster +1 bonus per open seal
- Closing seal: card or munchkin go up a three levels
Seventh seal opened*
- game ends instantly, without seal effect, cannot cancel
- winner -> highest combat bonuses from cards in play, no level
